Australian
Certification Services offers certification to those suppliers of Plumbing
Products, including a licence to use the WaterMark under the WaterMark
Certification Scheme (WMCS) http://www.watermark.standards.org.au/
The WaterMark Certification Mark is a
logo, displayed on products by licenced ‘WaterMark Users’ as evidence of meeting the
requirements of the WaterMark Certification
Scheme (WMCS). The WaterMark logo indicates to
consumers and licenced plumbers that the product
may be installed with confidence under the National Plumbing and Drainage
standard - AS/NZS 3500 and the basis for approval and meeting regulations
of various States and Territories under the Plumbing Code of Australia
(PCA). Requirements vary depending on the type of product and information
on these requirements is identified in the Standards Australia publication
ATS 5200.000.
